Feb 2, 2017: Mt 25: 1b “Ten maidens took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.”
With Sr Joy, the Provincial Superior and her Councillors, around 40 Sisters and 20 candidates participated in 24 hours vigil before the Blessed Sacrament on 3rd Jan 6.00 pm to 4th Jan 6.00 pm. The adoration was well planned with special intentions for each hour embracing the whole world in prayer. There were 6 groups consisting of 10 members each. Continuous prayers with singing, and rosaries, like the incense rose up to the throne of God the Father in heaven throughout the 24 hours. It was a wonderful privilege to be with the Lord. Indeed it was amazing to see each Sister with zeal and enthusiasm participating actively in the Holy Hour. Sisters who were unable to attend in the Provincial house also made special attempt to spend fixed time before the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration in their respective communities. Everyone felt the powerful presence of God. As part of spiritual renewal, it enthused and energized our spirit to be more committed. In unison with the entire Congregation we experienced the blessings of the Lord upon us. It was really an enriching experience for each one.
