Bethany, Mangalore, December 11th 2018: December 3rd 2018 was a remarkable day for the Bethany Congregation as it installed the Novitiate at Mwanga, in Tanzania Delegation. Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General, and Sr Lillis, the Assistant Superior General and the Coordinator of formation, were present on this occasion. The Sisters had invited the Bishop and a few neighbouring priests and sisters for the same.
The main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist was Most Rev Bishop RogathKimaryo, the Bishop of Same Diocese. There were a few more priests and sisters from neighbouring communities;and a few otherpeople from the surrounding areas. During the Holy Eucharist, Rev Sr Rose Celine erected the Novitiate and then she installed the Novice Directress Sr Anseline, and she was blessed by Rev Bishop,after which the first group of four Novices - Anitha, Bernedet, Clara and Veronica were initiated to the Novitiate.
The whole celebration was organized well under the leadership of Sr Rose Celine guided by Sr Lillis.
Tanzania Delegation experienced abundant blessings of the Lord. After the Holy Eucharist, there wasa felicitation programme followed by sumptuous food.
