With hearts full of hope and spirits buoyed with grace, the seven Pre-novices entered the threshold of the novitiate, ready to embark on a journey of discovery, growth, and transformation on 13th June 2024.The Pre- Novices were initiated by Sr Erasma the Provincial Superior of Northern Province with a meaningful prayer service at 5.30 pm. Sr Benedicta Aranhathe Provincial Superior of Guwahati Province read the Gospel and offered enriching reflections. She motivated the novices to soar high in their spiritual pursuit and grow in the love of Jesus. The novices were encouraged to face challenges and difficulties as opportunities to grow stronger in their vocation. Sr Lucious, the Provincial Superior of Silchar Province, Sr Jessy Maria the Provincial Superior of Eastern Province offered their prayers and blessed the newly initiated Novices.
The initiation prayer was followed by a felicitation programme by the second year novices.Sr Lucious, who completed her term as the Provincial Superior of Silchar Province was thanked and appreciated for her contribution to the formation of Novices.
Sr Lucious in her address appealed to them to be open to the formators, to be courageous in discovering their inner self and to have an open disposition in seeking needed help. The seven newly initiated novices will continue to discover their vocation to Bethany along with eighteen second-year Novices. They are assisted by Sr Jhansi, Sr Surekha, Sr Vijaya and Sr Felicia in their journey of faith. As the Novices decide to leave behind the familiar shores and step into a transformative journey, let us accompany them with our unceasing prayers. The Novices expressed their profound gratitude to Sr Rose Celine the Superior General and her team, Provincial Superiors and their teams.
