Feb 16,2017 : February 11, Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes The Church has recommended certain devotions to our Lady. One of them is devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes, whose feast we celebrate very meaningfully and with much devotion at the same time putting into practice her message for repentance of sins and praying the Rosary.
In Bethany Mother House, this day was celebrated meaningfully. At 6.oo pm, around 90 Sisters – of Mother House, the Generalate and the first year Juniors assembled in front of the Grotto of our Lady. The Rosary was prayed chanting the Hail Marys in different languages, singing appropriate hymns at regular intervals as we took a procession with lighted Candles while marching through the whole campus of Bethany. The procession culminated in the main Chapel . It was indeed a day to be remembered.
