March 5, 2017:“Reach out with passion, with hearts full of compassion to carry out Gods, mission with a compassionate vision”.
Keeping in mind the compassionate love of God manifested through our beloved Founder R.F.C Mascarenhas, empowered the 13 B.L.A. members of St Antony’s Convent, Ponnampet under the leadership of Sr Tina , the animator of B.L.A , we launched out for a unique purpose to reach out to the people who are aged and neglected, on 5th of March 2017 for a short visit.
“It was a breathtaking occasion indeed as we entered the Ashram; we mingled with the people of different faith and were taken aback to see the sad plight of disabled men and women in this 21st century. All we could do was to comfort them through our listening heart, kind words , sharing and by entertaining through our smile and by joining with them and having a fellowship meal along with them.
We can firmly assert today that it is in giving that we receive and thus contemplate the compassionate face of God in our lives and cherish the unforgettable memories of great wealth and happiness to our lives. Indeed it was a ray of hope and a rich experience which will last in our lives.
