Rosa Mysticacampus rejoices in welcoming 31 young and enthusiasticTertians from 9 States and 8 Provinces. They were initiated into the Tertiate formation on 29th June 2023, the Solemnity of the feast of Saints Peter and Paul by Sr Shanthi Priya the Assistant Superior General. The initiation prayer commenced at 6.00 pm led by Sr Sylvie Rodrigues the Assistant Tertian Directress. Sr Shanthi Priya in her exhortation highlighted three key elements reflecting on the Gospel of John chapter 15, the Vine and branches inviting them, to abide in Jesus, to be pruned in order to bear fruit in abundance. The initiation prayer and the message of Sr Shanthi Priya motivated the Tertians to begin their intensive spiritual journey to grow unto the full stature of Christ, holy and perfect, living in communion with one another, being compassionate daughters of Bethany. This graceful occasion was blessed by the presence of Sr Sandhya the General Councillor, Sr Leera Maria the Superior of Rosa Mystica Convent and the community, Sisters from Generalate community, Sr Sonia Dias the Novice Directress, her team and the Novices, Sr Monica the Candidate Directress, Sr Anna Maria and the Candidates.
After the initiation prayer there was a short felicitation program compeered by Sr Anitha Stephen the Assistant Tertian Directress. Sr Bridget the Tertian Directress warmly welcomed the gathering especially Sr Sylvie Rodrigues who has newly joined the team. Sr Shanthi Priya in her message during felicitation reminded that we are a drop of water, where we land is what matters. If we land in the hand of God we will maintain our purity, instead if we land inthe gutter, we will soil ourselves. So the choice is ours. Thereafter she welcomed each one of the Tertians with a rose. The vibrant Novices made the ceremony colorful through their melodious singing. Then the Tertians introduced themselves and voiced out their sentiments of love and gratitude.
We remain grateful to God for the gift of Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General for her continual prayerful support and guidance for the effectiveness of formation.
