31 May the Feast of the Visitation of Our Lady was a befitting day for the installation Sr Preethi Prathima the newly appointed Novice Directress at Rosa Mystica Novitiate, the garden of our lady. During the prayer hour led by Sr Priyadharsini the Asst Novice Directress,Sr Cicilia Mendonca, the Provincial Superior installed Sr Preethi Prathima as the Novice Directress in the presence of Sr Leera Maria the Superior and ten second year novices. She called upon her to imbibe the spirit of the good Shepherd to be effective in her ministry of formation.
Prayers were offered in thanksgiving for the blessings unfolded through Sr Shalet, interceding for the fullness of the Spirit on Sr Preethi Prathima as she assumes her new responsibility. Thereafter followed a simple felicitation programme.
The Provincial Superior congratulated Sr Preethi Prathima for her generosity to accept the new assignment in a spirit of faith and obedience like that of Mary. She thanked the former Novice Directress Sr Shalet for accompanying and guiding the novices with love in their formation unto the image of Jesus. The presence of Sr Leera Maria BS the Superior of Rosa Mystica Community added joy to the occasion.It was a blessed day in the annals of Bethany Congregation.
