The new Bethany Convent Limboi, in Gujarat was inaugurated on 13th August 2016. The dream of having a Convent building with a spacious Chapel was finally realized. Most Rev. Thomas Macwan, the Archbishop of Gandhinagar Diocese, blessed the Chapel and the Convent building and offered thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration. Rev. Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General of our Congregation, inaugurated the Convent building. Rev. Sr Cicilia Mendonca, the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province, unveiled the plaque.
Sr Shanthi Priya, one of the General Councillors, Sr Roshel, the Assistant Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province, Rev. Fr. Isidore Almeida, the parish priest, Sr Leena Pereira, the superior of the Motherhouse community, Sisters, large number of priests from Gandhinagar Diocese and outside the Diocese, parishioners, and neighbours witnessed the same.
Sr. Rose Celine felicitated the Civil Engineer Mr Arjun Bhai Prajapathi. Sr Regina, the Superior of the Convent, offered memento to the guests on the dais and felicitated the former Superiors Sr Loyoline and Sr Leena Periera. The Bishop appreciated the presence and service of the sisters in his diocese.
