Ranchi, Nov 18: On 30th of October 2017 Silver Jubilee of Sr Margarita and Sr Subasisni was celebrated in Ranchi during the Provincial Assembly. Morning at 7 am the thanksgiving Eucharist was offered by Fr Sebastian OCD at Carmel Nivas, Kokkar followed by facilitation from the sisters. Sr Shaila, the Provincial Superior, and Sr Mariette the general councilor facilitated the Jubilarians along with the sisters of the Province.
Sr Margarita hails from St. John’s Church,Permude, Mangalore Diocese. She is the eldest daughter and only daughter of her parents Mr John D’Souza and late MrsCatherine D’Souza. She has a brother MrManoja D’Souza. Sr Margarita is involved actively in Social Work from the beginning of her religious life. Presently she is the Provincial Councillor and Superior at Raja Ullatu community, Ranchi.
Sr Subhasini hails from our Lady of Lourdes Church Danthaling, Ganjam Distirict of Odisha, Diocese of Berhampur. She is the 2nd daughter of late Mr Samuel and MrsSalomiBehera. Sr Subasini began her ministry with Social Work and moved on to Education. Presently she is the Superior and Principal at Bargarh,Odisha.
