16 November 2020: Proud to be called, ‘Tertians of the Centenary Year’, 19 tertians belonging to eight provinces of the Congregation, arriving from the four corners of the country were initiated to the Tertianship programme on 16th November at 6pm by Sr Rose Celine, our Superior General during a meaningful prayer hour led by Sr Lillis, the Assistant Superior General in Rosa Mystica Convent Chapel, Kinnikambla.

Sr Lilitta the General councillor, Sr Shalet Mendonca, the Tertian Directress, Sr Mary Diki, the Assistant Tertian Directress, formation team, members of Rosa Mystica community were present on the joyful occasion, expressing their solidarity and support of their prayers, witnessing the joy of the memorable event.

Nurturing the hope of beholding this blessed day, having overcome the hurdles paused due to COVID – 19, the formees entered into this intensive period of formation with much enthusiasm and expectation, disposing themselves to be shaped and formed by the divine potter. The uncertainty caused by the pandemic is only a call to place their lives in to the hands of Jesus their beloved who is in control of every situation and makes use of every crisis to form them as he speaks His assuring words of wisdom in the silence of their hearts.

With the symbol of a rose and with lighted diya they surrendered themselves to the Lord of their lives to be fashioned into the image of Christ their beloved. They were made aware of their call to be filled with the Spirit of the Lord and to put on the mind and heart of Jesus through the words of St Paul to the Ephesians. The allegory of wine and branches in the Gospel of Jn 15 is an invitation to abide in His love and to bear fruit in abundance. Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General gave us a clarion call to grow in holiness, to discover Christ in every situation with determined determination, while practicing the virtues of the spirit of prayer, silence, obedience to the authority, humility and charity. This powerful message created in the new entrants the desire to be filled with the grace of God through incessant prayer and to be open to the spirit, in order to grow, flower and bear fruit. After the initiation prayer the tertians were welcomed and felicitated to Rosa Mystica Campus, the garden of Our Lady of Mystical Rose, a spot dear to the heart of our Founder.
