Inspired by Pope Francis’ declaration of the month of October, the Rosary Month, as the ‘Extraordinary Month of Mission’ and at the same time motivated by the thrust on youth ministry by the 16th General chapter of Bethany, the BLA members of Jyothi Convent Bangalore organized family Rosaries each day of the month in different families accompanied by the Sisters.
The theme of the programme being ‘YOUTH AND MISSION,’ during the family visits the youth were presented, with a prayer card of consecration to the Immaculate and a candle.

The finale was celebrated on 27th October with the Eucharistic celebration, animated by 60 youth present with their joyful voices leading the melodious choir. The Peter CSSR, the main celebrant presented a challenging message on “YOUTH & MISSION.”
The Mass was followed by a deeply prayerful Rosary procession. Leading the procession were the tiny tots of the families each carrying a white rose, followed by the Bethany Champions and youth of BLA families and their friends and then followed all the adults. More than 170 members participated in the procession.
At the conclusion of the procession Sr. Ann Tresa the animator led the group in consecrating their families to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
A sudden burst of the joyous flash mob by the tiny tots, the youth, the candidates and the Sisters glorified the Father, the Son and the Spirit and proclaimed that there is nothing that our mighty God cannot do. Their vibrant and lively performance overwhelmed us all and filled our hearts with gratitude.
