December, 11 2017, Sr Winnifred, the superior of SevaSadan, together with SrsVinod and Prathimaorganized the day of the special children on 6th December under the auspices of Bethany Seva Trust, in collaboration with JeevanadhiCharitable Trust Bangalore. Sr Bonita, the Provincial Superior of Bangalore Province, along with Sr Leena, the Superior of Jyothi Nilaya Bangalore, Fr George Kananthanam CMF, the Secretary of Commission for the Disabled of the Archdiocese of Bangalore, Fr Joseph CMF from Honnali, Bro Augustine, the Founder of the Trust together with 11 members of the Trust, the director of DDWD, the tailoring students and the parents of the special children brightened the occasion by their presence. 28 children with various disabilities, from 14 villages have been admitted to the special school. The tailoring students compeered the programme and the children with disability gave a short entertainment, the prize winners at the district level sports were given away prizes. The dignitaries expressed gratitude for having given an opportunity to serve these children and wished them well in their aspiration to bloom to the fullest.
