August 26, 2017: Rose in the morning, rose in the afternoon, rose in the evening, was the chorus by the entire congregation on the feast of our dear Sr Rose Celine, the Superior General. Sisters from the Generalate community and mother house community gathered together for a prayer hour in honour of Sr Rose Celine. The prayer highlighted the empty vessel to be filled with God’s love and be shared in the life of others. Fr J. B. Saldana, the parish priest of Permannur, who is also the convener of the historical commission for the cause of our Founder, celebrated the Eucharist. In his message he said that it is not our strength but the strength of God that makes us beautiful persons, and also the essence of the religious life is to find the treasure of great value. The presence of Sisters from the neighbouring communities enhanced our joy. Give ourselves until it hurts and recount God’s blessing, even in the midst of affliction were messages from Tobit the play written and directed by Sr Theresine and enacted by the sisters of the Mother House community along with many other Items put on show by the sisters of many of our communities. The day came to an end with a sumptuous festal meal.
