Sr M Annie Francis BS (69) (Annie Baby) of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore, passed away on Holy Saturday at 3.00 am 2017 at Bethany Provincial House, Chevayur, Southern Province. She hails from Ochenthuruthu in Ernakulam District belonging to Verapoly Diocese and is the daughter of late Mr Francis and Veronica. Sr Judy Varghese is her cousin sister. She has served in our communities at Eudes Convent West Hill, Lourdes Convent Pallikkunnu, St Joseph’s Convent Kalpetta, Bethany Provincial House, Chevayur, St Raymond’s Convent, Chempanoda and Bethany Convent, Chathamangalam. She has served as the Provincial Councillor for four terms with a break in between. She was suffering from Cancer for the past three years.
Her funeral cortege will leave Bethany Provincial House after the Holy Eucharist at 10. 30 am officiated by Bishop of Calicut Most Rev. Varghese Chakkalackal on Easter Sunday to West Hill cemetery. May her soul rest in peace.
