Bendur Mangalore,20 September2018:Sr M Paupera BS (86) nee Fellie Vaz of Bethany Congregation passed away on September 20th 2018 at Sacred Heart Convent, Ludhiana. She hails from Sirsi, North Karnataka. She is the daughter of late Mr Andrew B Vaz and late Mrs Catherina Coutino. Her funeral rites will be held on 21 September 2018 at 3:00 pm at Sacred Heart Convent, Ludhiana.
Sr Paupera has rendered her yeomen services in the field of formal education for about 56 years in our communities in Bethany- Mangalore, Kushekar, Dharwad, Sagar, Karnal, Bathinda, Naini, Faridabad and Ludhiana. She was a committed and dedicated teacher and won the hearts of children and parents alike. She was polite and gentle in her ways. She was a fine seamstress with no compare. All through her years she worked zealously, picking up skills and talents to be a good teacher.She had great love for the poor.
She was suffering from chronic pulmonary thromboembolism, Obstructive sleep apnoea, Deep vein thrombosis for the last three years.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and perpetual light shine upon her; May she rest in peace.
